Wondered what it would be like to tie a fly using some of my dog’s hair she leaves laying around the house. When it get’s hot, huskies shed in large amounts. Think I should try this on some bass?
Nothing like taking off on a Monday to fish the South Platte near Deckers, CO. My wife and dog tagged along, and our plan was to go hike into the canyon. However, once we saw the parking lot at Gill Trail, we quickly changed our minds. A quick stop at Flies and Lies and we [...] So, the date finally came, and we headed up to eastern Idaho to fish the famous Henry’s Fork of the Snake. I must say, I’ve never seen a river like this. Long meandering river flowing south with hatches of PMDs, Caddis, Stoneflies, and Midges all at once. Despite the challenges with bugs and weather, we [...] This weekend, Vail is hosting the 2010 Teva Mountain Games. Unfortunately (or fortunately, for me), I’ll be west of Yellowstone fishing the Henry’s Fork among other streams in Idaho.
