New Products at IFTD

In the recent days, several manufactures have announced new products that will be unveiled at this year’s International Fly Tackle Dealer show. Less than a week from today, I’ll be a little kid itching to play with a few of these:

Scott F2 Series Fly Rod

As an owner of a G2, I’m interested to see how this rod compares. The Fiberglass Manifesto was first to unveil this, and I’ve been excited to experience glass for the first time.

Korkers Chrome Boot

Korkers announced its new boot for 2011 just the other day, and I must say, it’s pretty sharp. I’ve been a Korker guy in the past, but recently switched over to a Simms boot – maybe this one will sway me back?

Ross F1 Fly Reel Series

Announced today via their Facebook page (bravo), this reel looks like the real deal! A top of the line reel, it was apparently designed, developed, and tested over the past two years. Can’t wait to get my hands on one.

Not really sure – probably not, but at least Ross is putting (what seems to be) a top of the line freshwater reel out there. I’ll get my hands on one next week at IFTD.
