Social Media ROI?

I get this question all the time, and my usual response is, “Well, what your ROI on magazine ads or direct mail?” Can’t measure it, huh? Recently, Erik Qualman went even further with the following video. I know I’ve talked about Erik before, but if you have a chance to read his book Socialnomics, please do. It’s a brave step for someone to write a book about the social economic movement, since it changes so rapidly, but I have a feeling he’s got more content in him.

Comfortably, the post is really the sweetest on this valuable topic. I harmonise with your conclusions and will thirstily look forward to your future updates. Just saying thanks will not just be adequate, for the exceptional usefulness in your writing. I will grab your rss feed to stay abreast of any updates. Gratifying work and much success in your business efforts!

Met you today at ISE. Great stuff on this site. Thx for turning me onto MoldyChum and other sites linked off here.
Would love to chat more about so some of your ideas on the social platforms. Saw this vid a while ago and I agree with it, just think that for every successful social campaign by a brand I see/feel 5 horrible ones. My bank jumped on twitter and they are getting crushed by negative hate mail from customers being raped by fees (myself included). I also am sick of CP&G’s shockers. Getting old. VW made the smart jump off ship before they turned BK into a joke.

Would love to know some brands/experiences you like out there right now in the A.D.D. social landscape.
